Joining New Members
DISCORD
- An admin+ uses !join @name to join the new member to the league.
- The new member's discord avatar will automatically be linked to their database entry.
TELEGRAM
- The new member must use the !join command themselves.
- The new member will have the league logo as their avatar.
Why the difference?
This is due to Telegram not providing bots with information on users when you @mention them.

*note: if you are having missing entire shots' worth of opponents, or have yellow opponents, contact support to have your screenshot profile adjusted.
TELEGRAM
- Poor screenshot-reading conditions
- High chance of missing opponents and/or missing/mismatched opponent info
Why the difference?
Telegram compresses images by default.
Screenshot profiles have been made to account for the differences in resolution between the submitted images vs what Telegram delivers to the bot, but the images are still lower quality, which makes them harder to read accurately.
RECOMMENDATION
If your league prefers to use Telegram, please consider dual-loading Discord.
You will then be able to run prep in Discord, which will allow you to have a much easier prep.
