v2023.8 RELEASE NOTES!
Before I get into the rest of the new stuff, I want to apologize for the board apparently looking like ass universally.
... I had stopped updating my Discord app the first time they messed up image embedding, so I just recently realized that it was squishing the two pics (split board) next to each other.
As such, I figured out how to make it look cool again. Woop.
And now, onto the MADDNESS!
NEW
ADMIN REVIEW CHANNEL
Similar to how the results channel works (more on that to come), you can enable this channel under ADV options.
- Customizable notifications are then posted in the channel.
- Notifications include low-!scores, high-!gaves, !note, !film, option toggles.
NOTE: you have to create the channel, set bot permissions (all of them just to make it easier, otherwise only needs a few... doesn't matter either way), and have the channel ID to enter when prompted.
NON-SCORING TURNOVER TRACKING
Four new commands to track turnovers if so inclined.
- !fr
- !pick
- !gave fumble
- !gave pick
These are entered like other similar commands, and the stats are included with !stats & reports.
Note: You can hide these stats under ADV options if so desired.
PREP MODIFICATIONS TRACKING (BACK-END)
I am now getting submission payloads (screenshots/source) when x number of changes need to be made during prep.
This will allow me to spot & resolve issues more better probably idk shut up.
GAVE OVERRIDE CHECKS
If someone submits !gave 0 0 prior to the 2 hour mark using the override modifier, they are now checked prior to allowing LVL end, similar to members with missed drives.
This will help with stats accuracy.
SCOREBOARD: DESKTOP MODE (BETA AF)
You now have the option to switch to desktop (horizontal) mode for the board, which may display better on desktop.
Please note that this will zap any existing custom backgrounds.
CHANGES
CONSOLE ACCESS LEVELS MATTER
- STATS: Super-Admin+ now
- ADV: Super-Admin+ now
- HUB: Commish only now
Additionally, several configuration-affecting Options are now only able to be run by Super-Admin+.
...so adjust admin levels accoringly prior to opting in.
RESULTS CHANNEL NO LONGER LEGACY-ONLY OPTION
Due to popular demand, you can now set this channel up in the same manner as the Admin Review channel mentioned earlier.
For newer leagues who are unaware, this is a separate channel where the daily results end up instead of in the main bot channel.
This is toggled in the ADV menu.
METRICS: GAVE AUTO-NEGATIVE
I just didnt know, sue me.
Note: If you are using GAV as a metric, please set it to a positive number and do a RECALCR.
TIMELINE SHOWS LOCAL TIME IN REPORTS
Another oversight, but at least caught it myself.
SUPPORT LINK REMOVED... REPLACED WITH !HELP
Due to issues related to the board display, this option has been removed.
However, the !help command has been reinstated & will dm applicable links as needed.
